A clear, colourful one-page presentation: quick setup, security tips, and official resources.
Unpack only in a secure place. Verify packaging and device authenticity before connecting. Use the official Trezor Suite app (desktop or web) to install firmware and complete setup — the guided process is streamlined and the recommended starting point for all models.
Connect your Trézor device and open Trezor Suite. If firmware is missing or outdated the Suite will prompt you to install — follow on-screen instructions and confirm the device prompts. Expect the guided install and initialisation to take around 10–20 minutes for most users.
Tip: If the device requests a firmware update, only proceed through Trezor's official interface and verify signatures when prompted.
Create a PIN on the device — this protects local access and complements your backup.
Write the wallet backup (formerly “seed”) on the supplied recovery card or another secure medium, then store it in a safe location offline. Do not photograph or store your backup online.
Open Trezor Suite to create accounts, view your portfolio, and send/receive funds. For large transfers, move a small test amount first. Use the Suite to verify addresses on the device screen before confirming transactions.
If you use third-party wallet apps, always pair through the secure Trezor integration flow and confirm the receiving address on device display.
Keep firmware and Trezor Suite up to date. Check Trezor's support pages for procedures, verification steps and release notes. If anything looks suspicious (tampering, unexpected prompts), stop and contact official support.
